Twice a year, I get the joy (and mild chaos) of working with Colorado Mesa University on The Maverick magazine. Thanks to it, Layout Design has quietly become one of my favorite corners of Graphic Design — who knew arranging boxes could be this satisfying? There's something weirdly magical about seeing your work actually printed and living in the wild. Building spaces for stories gave me a chance to play, experiment, and occasionally slip in an illustrated communist duck or two. Honestly, I’m pretty proud of what’s come out of it.
